How to unban someone on Discord
What is Discord
Discord is the most popular messaging system for game
players worldwide. Its advanced features and high level of customization have
also led users and general groups to catch up on them. Most importantly, these
days you will find a Discord 'server' - that is, a chat group - for just about
any topic you can think of, with hundreds of similar members. As an open API,
Discord allows developers to make the most of its appearance and functionality
to build their own version of the app. Or for less tech-savvy users, it offers
many customization options with built-in look themes, text-based formatting
options, and much more.
Though this article is about how
to unban people on Discord, Blocking people on the Discord server can
sometimes be a serious need to create a place to host all of your server
memberships, remove troubles, or simply dislike people. However, sometimes
kindness is needed, and if someone has shown a downward spiral and you believe
they have corrected their ways, or as long as you are very quick and
comfortable with your banhammer and accidentally blocking the wrong person, you
can always stop them after that. Various bots or moderation bots can block
people in a way that works best with large servers, such as Carl bot or Mee6,
but in the steps below we will show you a basic way to block users from Discord
without using a bot. Discord server blocking is permanent unless server
administrators decide to disable blocking that member. Therefore, the ban can
last anywhere from a few minutes, hours, days, weeks, or months. It all depends
on the server administrator. However, this is not to say that the discord of
the entire program by Discord policy breakers is a permanent ban on that
account. Now lets discuss types of Ban and how
to unban people on Discord.
Types of Ban
Server blocking is enforced by the server administrator,
where access to the server will be revoked from the blocked member. They can no
longer visit the server, send messages, or join voice channels within that
server. In addition, the server block is based on the IP address of the
rejected member, so they cannot simply create a new account to return. Extensive
system blocking occurs when system policies are violated thus preventing them
from connecting to any server in conflict, Extensive system blocking such as
server blocking is based on users' ip address, but this can work around
creating a new account and using a proxy network. The last method to remove,
this penalty method is not a ban, but just a server removal. Similar to a
server block, only administrators have the ability to uninstall their server members.
